A Vision

I saw a vision

It use to be just a dwindling light

Like a ray of sun going through the clouds

Like the faded light at the end of the tunnel

Then one day I prayed

God show me the whole picture

Show me the path

Show me the trees and the mountains

Show me the obstacles and help me over them

I opened my eyes and God gave me something more

He gave me the people to show me the way

And a Bible as a map for this journey

This journey through life

And whenever I feel alone

 I know that He will be there

He is the whisper in my ear

All I have to do is listen

Hush my thoughts

 Still my movements

And open my heart

To listen

For what He has to say

Is good

Now my vision is clear

It is not just a ray but the sun

It is not a faded light it is the end of the tunnel

As I sit here listening to His sweet voice

All I can do is smile

For He has brightened my life

And showed me the whole picture

I can see the mountains

And the trees

And the obstacles in my way

I know that God will help me through
