Slippers
Tennis Shoes
Where have they been?
How do they walk?
How do they run?
Shoes that tell who their owner is
Shoes that tell a story
Muddy shoes
And sandy shoes
And shinny buffed shoes
Are they old or new?
Torn, ripped, stained
Is that life?
Shiny, buffed, sparkly, new
Which one are you?
Where have you been?
How do you walk?
Do you walk in the mud or on the sidewalk?
Do you run or walk?
Sometimes ya gotta slow those shoes down
And just walk
It's ok
